Baby News!

Both the high-risk clinic ultrasound and fetal echo went very well today! The OB was very pleased with everything she saw. She was a very sweet lady who kept saying, “Oh, that looks beautiful, that looks beautiful there, too!” We loved hearing those words!! Then she noticed Baby Girl giving us the thumbs up, how cute is that?! Today Baby weighs 12 ounces.

After the ultrasound we went to peds cardiology to see Ben for the fetal echo. He said everything looked great there, too!

We knew today would be a good day and it turned out great. We can look forward to our healthy baby girl arriving around July 5th; they moved her due date up a couple days. Ellie saw the ultrasound pics and claimed it to be her baby girl; already a protective big sister! We are all very excited with our news today!

  8. Hi!
I came across your blog today. Congratulations and I hope all is well with Ellie. I have a 2 year old daughter, Cassidy, who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot w/ PA & MAPCA’s.
I think blogs are a great way to get the word about about CHD’s and I commend you for what you’re doing.
My wife and I are also on a mission to spread the word about CHD’s. We just started a jewelry company called Lucky 10. All of our products are handmade and pertain to Heart Defects and the Heart Community in general.
Please check out our site when you get a moment. If you could help us get the word out about our new business we would be very grateful. It’s a project that’s very dear to our hearts.
