Elkader Visit

We made another trip to see Grandpa Joe this weekend. During our first trip Ellie played Play-Doh with Grandma, Papa and Aunt Cindy. This time Grandma and Papa played cars and did jigsaw puzzles. The little 25 piece puzzles are Ellie’s new favorite activity! We are enjoying playtime with Papa Joe and of course Ellie is quite the little charmer when we go to the care center. All of the nurses know her and the other patients get a kick out of her, too. I’m glad we can bring a little excitement and happiness with us when we visit. Ellie, in her true fashion, acts like she owns the place when we are there. Climbing up to play the piano for everyone and wanting to run the halls.





Fancy Play-Doh hat, Papa Joe!

Baby cousin Wesley was in Elkader from CO this week with his mama, Dusti. Ellie LOVED playing with him and wiping his drool! We knew she was going to be a big helper once Baby Sister got here, she got some practice over the weekend. Ellie loved holding him but he got a little too wiggly for her so she was over that pretty quickly. Playing on the floor and reading stories was much better.



Baby Girl is moving around quite a bit these days. I actually saw my shirt move from her kicks on Monday- love it!
