Ahh, our favorite song or should I say Ellie’s favorite song. Anyone know Raffi? Mr. Sun has actions and it is quite a catchy tune (as in you find yourself singing it randomly throughout the day and night). She got the cd about a month ago and we listen to it often! Thanks (I think) Aunt Sue. She knows all the songs on the cd now and sings along, it’s so cute. Most of the time she needs to put on her tutu (no longer called dancin’ kirt) and performs the actions while singing for us. I tried to videotape but of course when you get out the camera she sings one line and says, “Let me see it”. You’ll just have to imagine her twirling around from the pictures…
Mr. Sun has been doing an excellent job on shining down on us lately. We have gotten out all of the summer toys and have been playing like crazy!
Don’t you love white sand (even if it is only in a sand box), blue skies and a warm breeze? Ellie loves being outside and I practically have to drag her in after hours in the backyard.
How many times can you spot Ellie's best friend, Monkey George, in this update?
"No, you get it!!" There's a tiny bug on the slide and Ellie is not moving until it goes away. Notice the pouty lip, haha.
"Can I wear my feet?" Ellie asks. "Sure, you can take your shoes off."
Aaah, let those toes breathe!

Looks like Ellie is having a great time enjoying the beautiful weather! The puctures are adorable. Hopefully this nice weather will stick around for a while.

ReplyDeleteLove the pics! We have been outside a lot lately too. Our girls are so much alike. Livi will throw a tiz when it's time to come inside. Even if we just have to run inside for a minute, she's always so worried we're not coming back out. Oh, and just this afternoon Livi would not go down her slide until a bug got out of the way! Can't wait until our next play date!

Love, Love, LOVE the pictures! I know I shouldn't do this (because I will miss these days) but I look forward to the days of playing outside on the swings, the slide and in the sand! Glad the Iowa weather is getting better! Hope Mr. Golden Sun stays around!
