Making Progress

I had an OB appointment this morning so I thought I’d do a quick "baby check-up" post today. Baby’s heart rate was in the 140’s again, good. I haven’t gained any more weight; I guess I must be done with that! That’s fine by me for a total gain of 22 pounds, exactly how much I gained with Ellie, more good. And now the best news for last, I am 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced….she’s getting closer! Although I’m sure it’ll still be a couple weeks I’m glad to know we’re getting somewhere with all these contractions. I’ll go in weekly from here on out. Unless I find out something Earth shattering I probably won’t update next week. So for now we’re just going to kick back and relax until “baby sister” gets here. Well, you know, as much kicking back and relaxing you can do with a two-year-old running around!
