Puddle Jumpers

Ellie has officially completed her first year of swimming lessons....Puddle Jumpers. How cute is that? She was a little timid the first day not knowing what to do or expect. This little fishy caught on quick and is blowing bubbles, kicking, letting us hold her to back float, and going under all by herself! Kevin and I took turns swimming with her each day and had a lot of fun. All the kiddos aged 18 mo-3 yrs. were so hilarious to watch. I'll let the pics from today do most of the talking....

Working on those kicks while front floating.

Look at that champ going all the way under, woohoo!!

The dreaded back float that is now a success!

Getting ready to jump in.

Ellie getting her certificate....and fruit snacks treat!

Here are a couple pics from last weekend at the downtown farmers market here in CR. There is so much for kids, Ellie left with tons of stuff!

Ellie is patiently waiting for her balloon frog to be finished.

She really was excited about the frog...she just never smiles for my camera anymore and was protesting pictures.

Uh-oh I hope I'm not in trouble.

Here's to hoping our next update includes pictures of the new baby; only 9 days left! Until then, GO USA SOCCER!!

  1. Holy cow! Ellie went under?! Liv loves kicking around and will kinda back float, but going under...no way!!! However, swim lessons (our's are called 'water babies.') has been nice. At least we get to go to the pool everyday!

The Farmers market looks AWESOME! Can you e-mail me some info (When, where, etc).

    Thanks!!!!

Hope to hear Little Miss is here soon!
